I've seen eyes with big hopes and dreams
But life is not as easy as it seems.
The eyes that shine and shimmer in the sunlight
You'll never know what's wrong or right

For the light that fades away when the young grow old
As the hopes there used to be don't seem as bold

For all the dreams there were, starts to disappear
And all that's left is sorrow and fear.

The fear of rejection the society has made
The society we live in doesn't feel alive but dead

We can still retrieve the loss and gain
Forget society and dream again
